The PS3 or PSP system was unable to activate or to download, copy or move video content. Solution: For PS3 users: Delete the current PS3 system user profile by going to Users and highlighting the user you want to delete. Press the Triangle button and select [Delete] to delete the user. Create a new user by going to Users > [Create New User]. Sign in as the new user and attempt to activate the PS3 system. Click here to learn how to activate and deactivate the PS3 system. If the problem persists, reformat the PS3 Hard Disk Drive (HDD). Please note this will erase all data from the HDD. Click here to learn how to back up your data. To reformat the HDD, go to Settings > [System Settings] > [Restore PS3 System]. For PSP users: Check you have the latest version of the system software by going to Settings > [System Settings] > [System Information] on the XMB™ Menu.
