You cannot send a friend request to a person to whom you have already sent a request. It is not possible to send more than one friend request to a single user. The user must decline the existing request or you must delete the existing request before you can send another one. Solution: Check that the spelling of the user’s Online ID is correct, taking care to note whether letters are upper or lower case and ensuring that symbols such as underscores and hyphens are inputted correctly. If the Online ID is incorrect, re-enter it correctly. Check that the user is not already on your Friends list. Make sure that there is no outstanding friend request. If there is an outstanding friend request, delete it before attempting to send another.
