There was no response from the Internet Service Provider’s PPPoE server. PPPoE is usually found with DSL connections. Solution Make sure your Internet Service Provide requires a PPPoE user name and password. If they do, try to connect online again. Some PPPoE authentication is handled by the modem or router and so you only need to choose the [Automatic] or [Easy] option when setting up your Internet connection on your PS3 system.
