Shareit by Lenovo is a handy mobile application that is now available on all the major mobile platform including Android, iOS and Windows Phone. Recently, Lenovo also made the app available for Windows PCs. So, if you are on Windows PC, go to the official Lenovo Shareit website and get the app installed.

Shareit for Android allows you to share files between two Android devices over WiFi. This method of file transfer is much faster than the Bluetooth file transfer. Another advantage of Shareit is that it also allows you to share your Android apps with the supported Android devices. This way your friends don’t have to download the app from the Google Play Store from all again as they can share most of the apps installed on your smartphone.

Though Shareit offers seamless connectivity between the Android devices, the same could not be said about Windows Phone and iOS. Sharing files using Shareit Android to Windows Phone or iOS is not as easy as it is for Android to Android.

Shareit for Android connects to the WiFi hotspot of other Android device that is requesting or receiving the files. However, that does not happen with iOS and Windows Phone mostly of because of running on OS other than Android.

If you want to know how to connect Shareit Android to Shareit Windows Phone and Shareit for iOS, then this little guide will help you.

Connect Shareit Android to Shareit Windows Phone

Step 1: Turn on Shareit on your Android phone and tap on Send.
Step 2: Next you will be asked to select the files that you want to transfer to Windows Phone.
Step 3: Instead of selecting files, tap on Next button at the bottom.
