You see the following error code and messages when you try to connect to Xbox Live:

    Scenario 1:

Sorry, Xbox Live profiles can't be downloaded at the moment.

    Try again later.

    Scenario 2:

These messages may mean one of the following:

    • There's a temporary problem with the Xbox Live service.
    • Your Xbox Live account has been temporarily blocked because the system detected suspicious activity.
    • The profile stored on your Xbox 360 console is corrupt.
    • Another profile has signed in.
    Solutions
To resolve the problem, try the following solutions.

Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status

If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again:

Solution 2: Clear the system cache

    1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
    2. Go to Settings and select System Settings.
    3. Select Storage.

    1. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)
    2. Select Clear System Cache.

    1. When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.
    2. Restart your Xbox 360 console.
    3. Disconnect your modem and router, if you have one. Wait for one minute and then plug it back in and turn it on.
Solution 3: Change the IP address on your console

To do this, see How to configure wireless network settings on your Xbox 360 console.
