Error 8015D002 occurs when signing in to Xbox Live on your Xbox 360

    You see the following error message when you try to sign in to Xbox Live on your Xbox 360 console:

    Sorry, either that's the wrong password, or that email doesn't have an Xbox membership. Please try again.
    Status Code: 8015D002


    This means that you have two-step verification turned on, but you haven't set up an app password.

    Solutions
    Solution 1: Turn off two-step verification

    If you no longer want to use two-step verification, you can easily turn it off:

    1. Using a web browser, sign in to your account.
    2. Under Security
