You see the following error code and message when you try to view or purchase content on your Xbox 360 console:

    8C230002

Sorry, there's a problem with the Xbox service. Try again later.

This may mean that the Xbox Live service is down, or that there's a block on your account that's keeping you from accessing certain kinds of content, such as unrated content.

    Solutions
To resolve this problem, try the following solutions.

Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status

If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again:

Solution 2: Adjust your privacy settings

If you're using an adult account, sign in to this account, and then make sure it has unrestricted access to content. You can adjust your settings on your Xbox 360 console or online.

Adjust your online privacy settings using your console

    1. Sign in to the account that's having the issue, go to the Settings hub, and select Privacy.
    2. In the Privacy
